Working with a coach around motivation can often be like having someone there behind you, supporting and guiding you and encouraging you to keep going.  

 

Feeling unmotivated?

 

Feeling unmotivated in your day-to-day life can have a profound effect on your happiness and can affect the quality of your relationships, your likelihood of you achieving your goals and most importantly - your quality of life.

The driving force behind all of our actions is motivation. It is the feeling of needing and wanting to do something that keeps us going even when that initial desire subsides. Occasionally we all need a boost of motivation in our lives to keep us focused and going forward.

 

When you begin a challenge, whether it is running a marathon, studdying hard for an important exam or simply getting out of bed in the morning, above all else you need motivation to reach your goal. You might know exactly what you want and what you need to do to achieve it however, as soon as the challenge peaks or if you begin to struggle, your sense of determination can start to wain. Without the right motivation to get started and keep going, you are unlikely to achieve your goals.

Motivation Test - take a moment to ask yourself the following questions:

 

Do you find it hard to get out of bed in the morning?

 We all like a lie-in but it is important to feel positive about the day ahead. If you can't find an incentive to get out of bed in the morning, you may

 need to consider making changes in your life.

 

Do you feel stuck in a rut? 

 Sometimes a lack of motivation means we put up with mediocrity for years simply because it is easy. Sometimes we need someone else to remind

 us what we are worth and what we are capable of.

 

Do you give up easily when faced with a challenge?

 It is easy to give up when times get tough however, it is important to find the motivation to push on and keep going.

 

Do you feel bored often?

 Boredom can be a sign that you are lacking motivation, there are plenty of things to do in life but it can be hard to gather the will or the courage to

 go out and get what you want.

It is easy to become unmotivated if we are not enjoying every day life or when you feel your hard work goes unnoticed, this is also often the case if we feel unappreciated.

 

It is important to be reminded that we can succeed, that we can get what we want and that we have the inner strength to overcome obstacles and challenges. Through our coaching we can motivate you to:
